Wow, I'm surprised the FBI rejected the prints done in B.A. I had mine done at the police station in BA in Palermo and they were accepted. I also had them done another time more recently at RNR in BA and they were accepted.

They don't typically weigh or measure carry-on. Especially if you are doing web check-in and don't have a checked bag to drop off. They won't see your bag until you are at the boarding gate and they don't usually have the time or inclination to weigh it at that point.
