Questions about Dating In Buenos Aires.

No, it's still racist. Most stereotypes are created by ignorant people's narrow perception of reality.

Is Argentina being sabotaged from abroad?

Have you ever looked at a chronology of Argentinian history of the 20th century? The Peronists were out of power for far more than they were in power, and even the military governments didn't improve the economy substantially, if at all. Peron was (elected) president from 1946-55, and from...

    Christina Kirchner

Where on the continent is life getting better? There were modest improvements for a brief period in the last decade, but overall Latin America remains the most economically unequal region on Earth. Even before the pandemic, it was projected for zero or negative growth even with right-wing...

Questions about Dating In Buenos Aires.

You got me all wrong. I wasn't advocating it. The point is everyone in OP's age range is doing it now, and for Argentinian feminists, it's almost mandatory (along with the green bandanas). Incusivo has also become an accepted language at UBA for academic work (and I'm not joking).

Questions about Dating In Buenos Aires.

Depends on what you're looking for. Your post has a description of your wealth, your genetics, and your body type. There will always be women (especially in other parts of Latin America) who date only according to those categories, but in general, Argentinian women (who tend to be more...

    That's a racist stereotype.

Exchanging money while visiting Buenos Aires

No, but I already had my US bank info linked to my Paypal. Maybe that made a difference.

Exchanging money while visiting Buenos Aires

Really? I used it throughout 2020 and never had to show more than my USPP when picking up at Giros More and even used it to pay my rent via transfers from my US bank to my ARG landlord's account.

If you have Paypal you can also wire yourself cash with Xoom and pick it with your passport up at many locations around the city. The fee is around 3-5$ and you get the Blue rate. https://www.xoom.com/argentina/send-money

Are visas being processed inside Argentina right now?

Do you mean the criminal background check/certificado de antecedentes penales? That can be done at most consulates abroad, but actually getting an appointment can take a while. https://www.argentina.gob.ar/servicio/solicitar-certificado-de-antecedentes-penales-con-documento-extranjero

    PASO Election Results

Way before he was president, Alberto described Nestor as the brains of Kirchnerism, and Cristina as the "heart." He then went on to describe her as an emotionally motivated person. Looking back it seems like a badly veiled insult and an insight into what he really thinks about her.

Sending money to Argentina via transfer

Okay, whatever floats your boat, pal. But there's no "misinformation" as it was fairly obvious that I was mainly referring to cash pick up. If you need to "correct" a several-months old post, good for you. I've made 442 other posts here, feel free to "correct" those as well.

EU bans nonessential US travelers, again

Don't be spreading fake news like that. They're only recommendations, it's not a ban.

Good restaurant near Belgrano R station?

You have a few medium-range to semi-upscale places around Plaza Castelli right outside the station. Jolie Bistró is popular (but try to get an outside table). If you're not in a rush, I would walk a few blocks up Juramento to Mercado de Belgrano where there are a lot of food and alcohol options...

Good restaurant near Belgrano R station?

I've spent a lot of time around there. Do want something convenient and good or are you looking for more of a sophisticated dining experience?

    Argentina VS Spain

I always thought it was weird that Argentinians chose Spanish as their language and Catholicism as their official religion (like Spain) and named many of the cities after Spanish cities, like Córdoba. It's cultural appropriation.

Catholic Universities in Argentina Call to Defend the Unborn

This is an institution that actively collaborated with and gave its "blessing" to mass murder (no pun intended) during the military juntas. They're very particular as far as which lives are sacred and which are not.

Tips for getting settled in BA

The best coffee I found was El Continente (not to be confused with La Continental, a café chain) located in Chacarita, but they have a couple of other locations. It's not a sit-down place, just beans and black coffee to go. I recommend their Moka and their Colombian (which was the best I've had...

Harvard Center in BA moves to Uruguay

I don't think one needs a Harvard degree to figure that out. I still don't get why this is raising so many eyebrows. HBS is just moving a couple of offices to another city.
