I did. It felt cramped, under powered and a bumpy ride.

    Best 0km SUV

Last year I paid $23k for a new Hyundai Creta SUV and we're very happy with it. It's the basic model but nicely equipped, good acceleration, lots of interior room. We visited quite a few dealers and did some test drives. The Creta was the only 25k range SUV that had excellent handling...

Does anybody know someone who day trades in Argentina?

I met two women over the years that were financially ruined by day trading. Both were very bright, recently widowed and struggling to learn how to manage the money their husbands left them when they got hooked on day trading.

Does anybody know someone who day trades in Argentina?

I went through this recently. The VPM required a state photo id. In order to get my Illinois dl renewed I needed proof of my SS# and a utility bill. It all became very complicated because I haven't kept my documents up to date.

Does anybody know someone who day trades in Argentina?

All good advice. You will need to maintain a valid drivers license, a physical address and a vmb. Also, receiving SMS codes here is vital. Before you leave make sure you have activated a cell service that will send your codes here (there are lots of threads on this subject on baexpats).

Does anybody know someone who day trades in Argentina?

Suggestion.... open an account at a mail handling center (like Super Postal Center) before you leave. Have all your IRS and other government mail sent there. You'll need it and it'll be harder to open once you leave.

    Big Head Bills

Boy, everyone agrees that I'm wrong. Except my wife. She's been with me many times, pulling out the small heads and taking them to the cuevas. At least now I know where to sell the big heads (thanks Graceille).

Could you tell me a cueva that I could go to for the blue rate?

    Big Head Bills

I've been told by several cuevas. First let me say, thanks Lunar for trying to help me. One of us has it backward. Would you care to make a small gentleman's bet?

    Big Head Bills

Nope, its the top bills, with the larger head, that the cuevas don't want and will pay less for.

    Big Head Bills

I accidentally brought back a lot of big headed $100 Franklin bills from my last trip to the US. The cuevas offered to buy them for 850p vs 1090p for the small headed bills. Is that my best play or is there a better way to use them?

    Need Help with Mercado Libre

I went through the same problem with Mercado Libre. Couldn't get an account. Tried opening an account for my wife, no problem. A couple of weeks later I tried again to open one for me and was successful.

    Divorce already!

It will take a lot of money for her to find you, find your assets, then get lawyers to take you to court, all with the uncertainty that she can convince a court to give her any of your money. For example, if she tries to hire an attorney in the US she'll be asked to put up, maybe $5000 as an...

Using international SMS for 2FA while in Argentina

I have been very satisfied with my setup. Originally I used Google Fi but they terminated my roaming data service when I spent too much time outside the US. However they left me with their roaming SMS/2FA which works well here and when I travel. This costs me about $25 per month. The best way...

Is there any way to decline Medicare Pt. B?

Yesterday I got an email notice from SSA that my statement was available so I looked at it. I was shocked to see that I was enrolled in Part B at a cost of $560 per month. I have never knowlingly enrolled in Part B and have no idea how this happened. One guess: We recently spoke to SSA...

Is there any way to decline Medicare Pt. B?

I was just notified that I'm now enrolled in U.S. Medicare Pt B at a cost of $7200. I don't forsee ever using this coverage but it seems that there is no way to get out of it unless I'm working for a U.S. corporation and meet several other criteria. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Maintaining a bank account in the US without a US residential address

I just went through the same problem. Mailbox companies require a state or federal id and they are strict about this so I used a relative to scan and forward my email. Having a U.S. address has been invaluable for banking, brokerage, credit cards, Amazon, passport, etc. Eventually I was able...
