Got married! Now how to get citizenship?

@El_fuego Congratulations on your marriage! If you intend to process your permanent residency and citizenship in Buenos Aires, you can follow my summary below: Permanent residency and citizenship are processed in two separate government entities. They have nothing to do with one another...

    Apply for citizenship abroad

    1. I don't think you can process your citizenship in an Argentine embassy abroad. You're lucky if the embassy legalizes your documents. Speaking from experience, they're a bunch of lazy bums. 2. PR and citizenship are two separate entities/processes. As a parent of a native born Argentine, you...

Good luck and may the force be with you. You're going to need it when dealing with civil servants and bureaucracy here 😂

    Permanent residence interview after marriage

They will nitpick and look for everything that can be turned into an issue. Even if you have already given them certain documents, they might ask for them again along the way. Or if the wording on your official document isn't what they have in mind, they will ask you to get a new one even though...

    Expired Precaria

I renewed my precaria online. Around 15 days before the date of expiry, the system will allow you to renew it online. You just click on it (even if it says error, which it might like in my case) and as long as the Fecha renovacion Precaria (see below) registers the time of when you actually...

    Permanent residence interview after marriage

It went well. They interviewed us together and it took about 40 min. Basically, they just asked our life story, how we met, about our families, travels etc, nothing out of the ordinary actually. Afterwards, they told us that everything was good and they'd upload everything into the system either...

    Permanent residence interview after marriage

After 4 months, I finally received an email yesterday requesting a few more documents (one of which was already given since the beginning but anyway...). I sent the additional documents right away and today I received another email informing me about the interview date scheduled for next week. :)

Any leads on BA restaurants with spicy food?

I cook my own spicy dishes every day 😁 but try Cang Tin (Vietnamese/Thai place). I haven't been there yet but the food looks really good on Instagram. I'm sure you can ask for the level of spicy you'd like.

    Una banda de marriage requirements

Different officers, different requirements. Someone I know told me that her friend got married or did residency (not sure which case) in Cordoba and they told her that she needed to give them her birth certificate (translated and legalized ). It was very difficult for her because her home...

    Una banda de marriage requirements

Where was this? I got married in August in CABA and the only document required was my passport. Even permanent residency doesn't require birth certificate but citizenship does.

    Prices

Apple is not a tropical fruit. I suppose mostly apples in the PH are imported, hence the higher price compared to other local fruits.
