Probably not quite what you expected: http://tinyurl.com/l6lo44u

But could it rebuild the dwindling dollar reserves? http://tinyurl.com/mukbdzs

Like there's already enough junk food on US shelves, no more please.

Fugazzeta made with white cheddar!? Surely they could have found some some really poor quality mozzarella so it would taste just like Mama's.

Hillarious.... Empandas de fugazzs...

My wife laughed when she saw this....traditional argentine fugazzeta empanadas......

Of course you can market anything to an american and call it whatever you want...as long as it's full of grease, high fructose and tons of gluten right?

My wifes uncle ( from Argentina ) living in Miami lost his job, so down on his luck he made: "Empanadas Tucumanas de Carne a Cuchillo" you know the northern style with the "aji" and "cilantro" and the cut beef....

They were so popular he couldn't make enough of them selling them at construction sites in Miami. It helped keep him afloat until he could find new employment LOL....they were so popular...he still has folks asking him for them...

Berkeley Bowl does not stock junk food (see http://www.berkeleybowl.com/produce.html). I have not eaten anything of Javier's, but he also appears to be serious despite the empanada misnomer: http://javiscooking.com
