For all Australians and New Zealanders on this forum, the annual ANZAC Day commemoration is being held at the Australian Embassy in Belgrano this Saturday at 10.15am.
It's always a good opportunity to rub shoulders with fellow Australasians, check out how much fancier our rich cousins' place is, and enjoy the warm hospitality complete with mini lamingtons, ANZAC biscuits and vegemite pinwheels. The catering is quite a motivation for me obviously. But to be fair I also well up a little when the Turkish ambassador reads the message from Atatürk to the mothers of fallen ANZAC soldiers. Dark glasses recommended!
You have until tomorrow 22/4 to RSVP and must bring photo ID with you on the day. Either email [email protected] or call 4779-3514. They will confirm receipt of your RSVP together with the address.
Hope to see some of you there!
