It's been a few years since I've lived here, but what's the differece b/t three to one and three to one-thirty? Please don't answer with the usual "blah, blah, blah, dumbass" stuff that (used to) dominate this forum.

If you are talking about dollar exchange rate, then it is 3.38 pesos for 1 dollar nowdays (or 4.39:1.3 if it is easier for you to use 1.3 as a base :) ).

But, JTW, if your question is intended to address purchasing power, the answer's simpler and (for estadounidenses) sadder: 3:1 bought more than 3.3:1 buys.

There's been a great deal of Argentine inflation over the past few years.
