My boyfriend and I will be arriving in BA from Toronto on November 15th. We will be in Argentina for the next year or so. He has a research grant and will be based in BA, and I work from home. We are attempting to find a temporary apartment for a month or so while we look for more permanent digs, but all of the usual routes seem to be failing us - a bunch of AirBnB conversations have fallen through, and CouchSurfing and Compartodepto are seem more like dating sites than rental sites! If anyone has any tips or knows of anything available, that would be awesome, and if it turns out that an apartment is available for a longer stay and we can arrange that in advance, that would be great too. We're mid-20s and generally clean and responsible. We are open to a room in a (hopefully not too massive or chaotic) shared house, or an apartment around San Telmo, Palermo, and the centre.
