Afilador

Had a chat with a local afilador. I have a few knives to sharpen, and asked his price...then promptly sent him away.

Anyone use an afilador? What's the range I should expect to be charged by an honest one?

I pay $10 per item (knives) and if you have something like a tool or machine part it can cost a bit more, maybe $15, more than that I can´t imagine.
