Hi.

I heard argentine residents can send money to family members oversees with out paying huge fees. Does anyone know about this and how much can be wired from a bank? I heard that you need to show proof that the family lives abroad...how do you show this?

Thanks in advance!

If you have legitimate income you can remit (at least 1500 USD depending upon approval from central bank) through bank here the few things you might need.
3 months pay slip (proof of income)
Relationship with beneficiary (any document will serve a purpose at least in my case)
Expenses (Rent, etc so the bank can figure it out that after expenses you have enough amount to remit)
even after submitting all this your bank manager might deny you because of central bank.

How ever there is another way to send through Metropolis. you can send 300 USD per month.http://www.metropoliscf.com/ (I use this)

Note: In both cases you have to pay commission of 75USD as transaction charges, even if you remit 50 USD.
