The former President of the Nation, Alberto Fernández, said goodbye to 2023 at the Dani restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel, located in the capital of Spain, where the New Year's Eve dinner cost 1,000 euros. Price did not include first class flights from BA to Madrid.

Is this socialism?

Sorry for Spain

What ever happened to the rumor that he owns a hotel in Spain?

I suspect sooner or later Argentines will discover honest Albie wasn’t so honest after all.

Alberto Fernández was a Peronist president, a third way political ideology with it's roots in European Fascism and Latin American Corporatism. Argentina has never had a socialist or communist president, but you already know that.
Peronism was everything to everybody. Menem was on the right and Kitchener/Fernandez are on the left. The Kitchener/Fernandez Peronist socialist policies of maximum interventionism as well as fiscal and monetary irresponsibility has destroyed Argentina and left the central bank without reserves. These “XXI Century Socialist” policies, led to a completely uncontrolled increase in the monetary base and obliterated the local currency. Just like marxist Chavismo in Venezuela, the Peronist government of Kitchener and Fernandez have destroyed the currency and the productive fabric to boost political spending and turn the country into an economic wasteland. Classic socialist/marxist economics.

What did I just read... Just because the gang was throwing scraps around, that accidently hit some poor and mostly rich on the way, you call them socialist/marxist? It is pure populism, without any ideology behind. Argentina never had anything remotely socialist in power. And who thinks that economic disaster, deficit and inflation were caused by subsidies to the poor, is plain stupid.

This narrative has to end, because it's just fogging real troubles Argentina has.

Ah, okay this confirmed my suspicion, you don't actually know what marxism, socialism, communism, etc. are, you're just shitposting. Have fun with that then
