If this ever happens to anyone else, assuming they already have a saucepan, I hope they know where to buy a bucket, a graffa de gas, and a hornalla.

Taking a "bucket" or "horse bath" (as we call it in the campo) is a desirable alternative to dealing with odor and rash when waiting a week to ten days for the gas truck to refill the 300 liter LP gas tank.

And when the power goes off at night, the same garaffa can be used to provide light:
