I went to one bar in San Telmo, (forget the name), which obviously played Argentine music, but had a list of about 20 songs, which were in English. (Hey Jude, Hotel California, etc...)

I have a friend coming in who LOVES Karaoke, so if anyone knows of another bar with a wide selection...that would rock my socks.

Thanks in advance.

Are there any Japanese expats on the forum?? ;-)
I don't know but at the Cantonese restaurant, Casa China, a bunch of chinese expats had rented a room, bought a few bottles of cognac and about 4L of beer a person (I got brought their bill by mistake, wow:eek:)and were singing their hearts out at a volume even the heavy doors and sound proofed rooms couldn't contain.

Has anyone been to Republica de Aca for karaoke? I checked out their website and was wondering what it's like.

Boomer,

The bar you are thinking of is called Akwaba Club..I know because I've seen you there singing the aforementioned songs. :D

If there was a Karaoke Hall of Fame, Boomer would be a charter member.
