Hi!

We've been in Buenos Aires for 2 weeks and are leaving on Sunday via the ferry to Uruguay. We booked the tickets online and now are in need of a printer otherwise the company say they will charge an extra fee on getting to the port (Colonia Express).

So, does anyone know of a decent internet/cyber cafe in Buenos Aires where we can get these travel documents printed off tomorrow? (Saturday 4th April)

As far as I can tell, this is the only post that refers so such a question and it's rather old. Apologies if this gets asked a lot and I'm just missing it!

Thanks in advance for any answers :)

There are so many locutorios (another term for a "cyber") where you can do this! Our recommendations will be of more use for you if you can indicate where in the city you're staying? :)

Otherwise off the top of my head I can suggest the locutorio in the Retiro train station (unlikely it's open Sundays though). There's also a place on Medrano near Guardia Vieja.

There's a locutorio every other block. Ask at any newspaper stand on the street and they'll tell you where the closest one is.

Locutorios are a dying breed. There is one on Vincent Lopez off Callao. This is probably the last one in Recoleta, between Callao and 9 de Julio.

Pueyrredon bet Santa Fe and Arenales Across from the Franoo Suiza Clinic.... 10 pc stations and printer service

Some kiosks also print. Ours, on Parana, near the corner of Juncal, has a printer. You might try a kiosk, some are locutorios, too.

To `print a Colonia Express ticket a PC and internet is needed...?? plus a printer---

Not necessarily; librerias and most print shops will print from a file. Locutorios and kioskos may/may not be able to print from a file depending on their printers.
When you have your ticket ready to print, instead of directly printing to a printer, choose print to PDF (your computer should have Adobe acrobat installed), or find a PDF button on your Print window and you should get an option to save to PDF... this way you have a backup copy of the item you need to print without needing internet... again. Save your item to a USB flash drive or card. Photo service places are usually equipped.

Any place that does photocopies "fotocopias" usually prints stuff too!
