Apartment in BsAs --- Summer Internship

Hey all,

I am going to be in BsAs this summer for about 4 months for an internship. I am super interested in getting to know some people as soon as I arrive. Having previously lived in Argentina (near Parana and Santa Fe) I am familiar with the country, just not so much with Buenos Aires.

I need some advice. While looking for a furnished apartment I am only finding very expensive options. I am not super needy, just want a clean, safe, and a good location. I will be working in Palermo, so that would be an ideal part of town for me. Any suggestions?

I would suggest you look into renting a room. Check out Spare Rooms Buenos Aires, I know lots of people have had good experiences with them.

enbuenosaires.com is not such a bad site, but most of the ones posted are already rented out. Best to save a search and then you'll be emailed when new apartments matching your needs are posted.
