Wanted to post it here that we are continuing with Open Mic Nite tomorrow, and I'm asking people to wear Argentina colors to recognize the bicentennial and, if you know any, to play songs from Argentina. I myself just learned un tema de Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and I'm looking forward to playing it out for the first time.
Everybody gets to play at least 3 songs up on stage, but please arrive early to reserve your spot and please BYO instrument!

Things have been going really well and I am very proud to be a part of this growing community of musicians.
If you can't make it Tuesday night, come out to Cafe del Arbol in Plaza Dorrego Wednesday night to hear my rock trio. I'm playing with Paul G (owner of El Sol Hostel www.elsolrecoleta.com.ar) and Lemrick, both of whom used to be signed musicians in LA in the early 90s. We'll play a lot of Ramones, Kiss, Elvis Costello, Beatles, Tom Petty, and some originals. Paul and I will both be fronting the band, switching off on bass and guitar.
