Argentina: Inflation Resumes Its Decline, But ...

any idea when cepo is going to be lifted?
Some changes last week to the government lifting banking regulations affecting dollar bank-bank transfers making it easier to send and receive dollars within the regular banking system.
They also removed the requirement to get central bank approval for dollar transactions over $10.000, raising the threshold making it possible for businesses to start buying and selling in dollars for "small" amounts without delays and red-tape.
Also in September the PAIS tax will be reduced from 17,5% to 7,5%.

Both of these elements form part of the CEPO (capital control regime) which is made up of numerous separate regulations and laws accumulated over the years.
It seems they are already starting to gradually undo it.
