This might have been touched upon before, if it has please direct me there.

I basically want to know, if I start an Argentine company with two other Argentine citizens can I be the majority owner of the company, while just having a tourist visa?

Thanks.

No problem with foreign ownership but the director of the company must have residency (at least temporary). So you wouldn't be eligible to be a director.

Yes, you can; but Argentine citizens need to own at least 5% (I believe; might be a bit more or less) of the company.

I've set up some companies here (as an American on a tourist visa). Let me know if you have any questions about the process or want any recommendations.

Not true - company can be entirely foreign owned (or at least an SRL can).
