the original was written by the Latin American (Mexican) poet Octavio Paz.....

Argentinians are Italians who speak Spanish, act French and wish they were British, expect North American salaries but produce like Ethiopians, vote like Somalians, think like Leftists and live like the bourgeoisie, would like to have Canadian management but organize like Bolivians, admire the orderliness of the Swiss but emulate the disorder of the Nigerians.

A couple of Argentinean dudes arrives in Rome..

Dos argentinos llegan a Italia.
Dice uno:
- Che, habrá argentinos acá en Roma?
- Y, no sé... mirá en la guía telefónica.
Y el otro lee:
- Baldini, Corranti, Dominici, Ferrutti... Che, Roma está llena de apellidos argentinos!

ARGENTINA, the naming does not come from latinated based meaning at all. It draws from the indigenous language which means:
An incredible arrogant bastards...Read it from the "patagoniax" dude....

ARGENTINA IS WHITE (from Know Your Meme)

About

Per Wikipedia: In Argentina an extensive racist ideology has been built on the notion of European supremacy.[sup] [/sup]This ideology forwards the idea that Argentina is a country populated by European immigrants “bajados de los barcos” (straight off the boat), frequently referred to as “our grandfathers”, who founded a special type of “white” and European society that is not Latin-American.

It is a fact that 110% of Argentinians proudly claim to be of pure Italian and perhaps Spanish heritage, with no Amerindian mixture. Upon evidence that the population is, like all other Latin American populations, mestizo, and that this is nothing to be ashamed of, Argentinians will loudly proclaim “ARGENTINA IS WHITE” and will instead blame their purportedly less white neighbors (Chile, Brazil, Bolivia).
Moreover, Argentines consistently label Argentina as the “Europe” of South America, and call themselves individually “European,” despite white people in countries like the U.S. or Canada calling themselves Americans or Canadians.

Origin

“Argentina is white” comes from the /int/ernational board of 4chan, a notably inflammatory board where people from cultures all around the world can come together to argue over who’s the whitest, and who qualifies as white at all. Though officially meant for the discussion of foreign cultures, /int/ is really for closet racists to bitch about the supposed horrors of racial mixing, while guiltily fapping to Asian porn.
While the exact date of when “Argentina is white” and similar participatory trolling first began on /int/ is unknown, it can be traced back to threads throughout the history of /int/ in which Argentinians proudly proclaim their superiority to other Latin Americans by order of their whiteness.

Properly Trolling the Argies

Argentines are known to be the easiest trolls on /int/, just ahead of the French. The best, most tested routes of enraging Argentinians include posting:
-Argentina is not white or
>Argentina
>white
-Islas Malvinas are the Falkland Islands
-Chile is richer and whiter than Argentina
-Bolivians are the new Argentinians
-Anything degrading Che and his poser followers

Lots of Memes about the subject were created online.

Camberiu, then it makes your Brazil same ? Os Portuguses came then straight off the boats? Or was that given to from the Espanyoles?

And from now on: I have been frown upon using the " Japanese honorifics " referring to posters here with the "San" so directed to
just call anyone's name sans the "honorifics" it makes me uneasy but to obey.....

The Japanese language uses a broad array of honorific suffixes for addressing or referring to people, for example -san, as in Aman-san. These honorifics are often gender-neutral, but some imply a more feminine context (such as "-chan") while others imply a more masculine one (such as "-kun"). These honorifics are used as suffixes that attach to the end of people's names, and can be applied to either the first or last name depending on which is given. In situations where both the first and last names are spoken, the suffix is attached to whichever comes last in the word order. While these honorifics are solely used on proper nouns, these suffixes can turn common nouns into proper nouns when attached to the end of them. This can be seen on words such as "猫ちゃん" or "neko-chan" which turns the common noun "neko" or "cat" into a proper noun which would refer solely to that particular cat, while adding the honorific "-chan" to mean "cute" or "small". These honorifics are often used in conjunction to Japanese honorific speech, such as Keigo, which can be found in the conjugation of verbs.

We don't see it the same. Since children, it is drilled in our heads by school, family and the media the concept that the population of Brazil is made up by the mixture of 3 main "races" (natives, europeans and africans) plus smaller doses of Asians and Arabs. We are tough that our culture, way of life and genetic make up is the mixture of all three. There are no claims of "Europeaness" on the Brazilian culture. For us European culture is just one part of what makes us who we are. We are tough to think of ourselves not as black, not as white and not as indian, but as all three.

This song does a perfect job personifying the Brazilian national identity and how we see ourselves.

Argentinos derive from Italo~Iberico mostly then mixed with native americans? Then similar for your beloved Brazil.

1st the Portuguese colonizers whom brought the Africans then mixed with the local native americans plus others as you said above thus creating the go-go Brazil, the next powerhouse..China wants Brazil so bad but so are the Euro/US consortium..I do love thousand of fish variety caught off the grand river Amazonas and your country vast tropical fruits..My daily ration of " Jugo do Acai " !

Race and ethnicity in Brazil.

Brazilian society is made up of a confluence of people of several different origins, from the original Native Americans, with the influx of Portuguese colonizers,[sup][1][/sup] Black African slaves,[sup][1][/sup] and recent European,[sup][1][/sup] Arab and Japanese immigration. Other significant groups include Koreans, Chinese, Paraguayans and Bolivians.[sup][citation needed][/sup]
In the 19th and 20th centuries, Brazilian culture has promoted racial integration and mixing

Frankly, I think Brazil is too dysfunctional to become a powerhouse. The last 15 years of Dilma and Lula have undone decades of hard won progress. Also, myself and I think most Brazilians don't have any aspirations about becoming a "powerhouse". We just want a country that is more just, fair and safe. Where parents can provide for their children and the young can have a realistic hope for a brighter future. I don't think it is part of our identity to see our country imposing itself onto others. Brazilians in general want their country be liked, not feared or envied. That is more part of the Argentine collective aspiration.
