I'm glad to hear the journalist and his son are stabilized, but what a horrible, horrible nightmare. I hope they fully heal from their injuries and that they and thier family stay safe.
My mischevious side can't help wondering how one of the Beltway Chickhawks in the US would have reacted in a home invasion like this. I can see most of them eagerly cooperating while pleading for their own mercy.
