Aussie in Buenos Aires

aussie male comming to Buenos Aires on Feb 11th for 1 week. very very excited about the trip! i am travelling solo, so was hoping to meet some people to hang around with in BA! I enjoy the whole Argentine way of life - eating at 10pm, then going to a club at 1-2am and dancing till the sun comes up. I'll be staying in San Telmo when I am there.
Any recomendations of "must-see" places and any major safety concerns?

My name is David and I'm an American (lived in Melbourne for a few years) and I'll be here in BA for the time you're here. San Telmo is great, they have a fun Sunday market/outdoor tango/etc thing. For safety stay clear of La Boca at night, some streets are pretty sketchy. As for clubs, etc send me a PM / email (davideyork [at] gmail dot com). When you arrive and we'll hang out, I'm on the same schedule you are it seems.
