Got some family members making a last-minute visit next week and need to find some cheap and cheerful, bed and breakfast-type accommodation.
Have had a scan online and am shocked at the prices of 3/4 star hotels here! Not thrilled with putting down a hefty deposit on an apartment either for such a short stay.
Does anyone know of any guest house or b&bs that they would recommend?

I remember a cheap one in Belgrano area but it is more for young people. There are not so much cheap ones. here is one about U$ 50 per double room (for 2 people). http://www.milhousehostel.com

a little bit cheaper is http://www.bedandbreakfastclan.com.ar too because the often have some special discounts and will cash for room only too as MilHouse.

alternative you can go to http://www.palermoviejobb.com which don't have so high prices but like U$ 40+ per person.
