This is the second weekend of the 26th annual Buenos Aires International Indie Film Festival. Last films shown on Sunday

It's been electric so far! Incredible line up and many talks with the directors involved, from all across the globe. Great turnout (sold out theaters) for Argentine film debuts. A top notch film festival, each new year. I've been to 10 films thus far. Hoping to pack in another full weekend. 3,000 pesos per ticket, a total steal.

Two that've stood out (that still have screenings) were "Monstruo de Xibalba" (Mexico) and "Lump" (U.S.). I've also heard great things about "O último azul" and "La guitarra flamenca de Yerai Cortes" Also two great counterculture music documentaries—one about Polystyrene and the other about The Slits.

Happy cinema-going if anyone decides to partake.
