What are the tax implications of becoming an Argentina citizen and also a non-resident (meaning I don't live in the country). Do I have to pay capital gains tax or a wealth tax on any money earned outside of Argentina as a non-resident who is a citizen of Argentina? Also what is the maximum number of days can can spend in Argentina without becoming a tax resident? Some people have said you should spend more than 90 days in Argentina and other have said its ok if you don't spend more than 182 days.

Generally speaking:
Taxes have nothing to do with citizenship.
Taxes are based on residency.

N.B. Of course, there are minor details.

Being a citizen and living abroad, I had to pay taxes annually on "bienes personales".
