Big Mac Combo Goes Up... McDonalds loses subsidio? LOL

So, one of the last bargains in BA and the best way the government apparently had of truly hiding the inflation thanks to the Big Mac index used globally, is no longer.

I went to order a Bic Mac combo yesterday, whipped out my 21,50 and was told it has now gone up to 26,50 plus 7 pesos more (33,50) for large fries/drink.

Noticed this last week. Yes it is still much cheaper.
And it was 21.9 not 21.5 and they don't usually give you back 10 cents back, so it was 22 actually.

Indec has to save their face: inflacion rate according to Big Mac is 20 percent for year 2011.

I worked in maccy d's a long long time ago and have been known to eat there but i much prefer burger king.

Still the prices at the moment are ridiculously high compared to normal restaurants.

That was my question too. I am really surprised that anyone over the age of 16 (or so) would ever eat at any of those places. But then again --- I used to smoke cigarettes so I suppose I am in no position to judge.
