Is there a standard for branch numbers and account numbers in Argentina? Swift? Can you do an international transfer using XOOM into a savings account.

For example:

Branch number: AAA111AA
Savings account number: 123456789

No there is no standard, but you can do a transfer to a savings account

For Xoom, you need to give four pieces of information about the account, bank name, branch number, type of account (checking or savings), and account number.

The branch number is the branch where the account was opened and can usually be found online if you know where that was. It can be 1, 2, or 3 digits depending on how many branches the bank has. Examples: Santander Rio Banco Macro

The account number you will need to get from the person you are sending to.

Also you need the recipients full name, address, and phone number.
