Brasilian Independence Day on Sept,7th
Any tips on where to celebrate it with fellow Brazilians?

I remember a few years ago they had a big party in Palermo with live music etc... I cannot for the life of me remember where, if I do i'll try googling and see if they're putting anything on.

Here's what the embassy says they are doing, so maybe the party this time will be at the CCR:

At yesterday's Dia de Immigrantes festival someone handed out a flyer announcing a Brasil Independence party on Sept 19 at Centro Armenio. See www.melevaqueeuvou.com.ar

Ah yes, there you go -- that's where it was a few years ago, the Centro Armenio -- it was a good party but assuming it's the same deal as when I went, get there early if you want any hope of food.
