Anyone know if an Argentina Temp Resident needs a visa for Brazil?

Also, has any US citizens received a Brazil Visa lately? Your experience? How long of a visa did they give you?

Thanks,

T/

It doesn't matter at all,if you are a temp or permanent Argentine resident with a DNI -A US citizen lways needed a tourist visa as well which if you brought all the requierded info to the Brazilian Embassy,Consular Section was usually given in at most 2 days.
The tourist visa was suspended during the Olympics in Brazil.Check on line with the Brazilian Gov't website.

I am a permanent resident of Argentina and still needed a tourist visa in February of this year, as I only have a US passport. It was pretty much just a formality. I handed in my completed forms, fees, photos, etc., and came back the next day for my 10 year tourist visa. Easy as pie.
