Buenos Aires wine shops: 10 to visit

Soil Wines and Lo de Joaquin Alberdi, along with Vinos El Salvador and La Cueva de Musu, are my personal favorites. More wine shops than hybrid shop/bar...but they sometimes offer wine tastings (at times with the winemaker). Friendly folks at all of them and a range of the good stuff. No Nampe in sight, but I hope some folks forgive them that. Another one (that seems a bit more upper crust and I can no longer afford) is Le Bouchon in Recoleta. I think they do wine pours but they're pricey...special occasion type wine shop if you're looking for something unique.

One thing Buenos Aires never lacks...passionate wine, food and cocktail folks...one reason it rivals any major city there is. The service industry here is top notch if you know which direction to stumble.

I also like the author of this piece, she's a great food/beverage/travel journalist-who I believe makes her very own wine now-and has really settled into the scene here. Thanks for sharing!
