Bullfighting / Toros in BA

There's a bullring in colonia, Uruguay..... although its been illegal since 1912 to actually take part in bullfighting in Uruguay.
 
The most violence related to sports in Argentina you can hope for is a riot after a futbol match.

There was a thread about the riot after River was demoted from the A list, but I can't find it using the search engine.

Perhaps someone can find it and provide the link (if it still exists).

Abolished in 1819, thankfully. Bullring was located at the present corner of Marcelo T de Alvear and Florida. Before that, bullfighting was in Plaza de Mayo (known as Plaza Mayor, then)

Thanks anyway, I was curious to know because I know its very big in Spain, so I thought that maybe it ould exist here.
