Buying a motorbike in Buenos Aires

We are planning to move to Buenos Aires in September, we are both digital nomads and intend to buy a motorbike. I have seen posts and it seems we can purchase motor vehicles as foreigners. However, there seems to be a process involving an "Argentinian proxy", a legal resident of the country. Has anyone been into this procedure before?

I would strongly consider a good private medical plan...motos are invisible to drivers here...

I'm sure you can buy a car therefore certainly you can buy a motorbike, however you must consider you will need a driver's license and insurance, which may require a DNI
