Buying Pepper Spray?

I have a female friend who is looking to buy pepper spray. Does anyone know where i can get it in Buenos Aires?

Not sure being armed is helpful at all.

But if it makes her feel safer hairspray is legal, widely available and nasty if sprayed in the eyes.

Pepper spray is available from Bond Street an arcade of Santa Fe near Uruguay . Its a famous arcade full of tattoo parlours but pepper spray is available inside in some stores.

You can also find it in most gun shops...I know the gun shop in San Isidro sells it...just about 2 or 3 blocks from the train and to your right on a side street...heading east from the train.

There are a number of sporting shops in the center. Look for the guns in the windows.
