I would greatly appreciate if someone who understands Spansh better than I can would take the time to transcribe the lyrics of a song that was recorded in Spanish.

I already have a word for word translation of the original lyrics in English as written by Neil in 1971.

I would like to know the Spanish lyrics that are being sung in this version (wich is different from the original):

Thanks in advance

As I wrote in the first post:

I would like to know the Spanish lyrics that are being sung in this version (wich is different from the original).

If there is anyone who reads English well enough to understand what I asked for in my first post and also understands Spanish well enough to transcribe the lyrics in the version of the song that I posted, I will be very grateful.

PS to my previous post:

It is NOT Neil Diamond who is singing the Spanish version of I Am I Said in the video I posted and the lyrics are not a direct translation of the original song which was written by Neil Diamond ad released in 1971.

There are many youtube videos of Neil singing his original song with Spanish subtiles, most of which are exact word for word translations of his original song.

I am not fluent enough in Spanish to listen to the YouTube version which I posted and write the lyrics in Spanish.

I have known this song (in English) "by heart" for 50 years.and I can easily read the Spanish subtitles for several youtube videos of Neil singing this song through the past half century.

I want to send this Spanish version to my "student" in Colombia,

...but before I do so I would like to be sure I know excatly what is being sung.

At this point my Spanish simply isn't good enoungh to undersand all of the words.

PS2: There is one youtube version of the song being sung in Spanish which is a good word for word translation, but the singer is really awful (even worse than me at 72).

This is what I hear.

Me pararé y me reiré

Thank you Alby!!!

I am listening to the song and reading what you wrote.

I'm trying to fill in the blanks as I know the words of the song in English.

At this point all I can say is this version is even sadder than the original.

Last night I sent Alby's transcription to my "student" in Colombia.

This afternoon she sent me this:

Me pararé y me diré

Soy yo diré y no me oran

Ni aquí, ni allí, nadie jamás me entenderá

Soy él que soy

Y no soy más

Ando perdido porque aquí me faltan más

Soy como soy

Déjenme en paz

Con mi locura buscaré la libertad

Soy como soy, no pido más

Tengo motivos para estar en soledad

Déjenme estar en paz

Here is a google translation that I edited slightly, changing in the river to by the river and in the sea to by the sea.

Sevilla well, the sun is always here

And I love its color

I live by the river and it lets me dream

Although I'm thinking about going back to the sea

I was born by the sea and I grew up there and now I find myself lost here

Seville very well but it is not my city, well it was but my friends are no longer there

And I will scream no one will come

Neither here, nor there, no one will ever understand me

I will stand and tell myself

I'm lost and I can't figure out why

Let me be in peace

Perhaps you know the story of the frog who wanted to be king, and he became king

Changing places and names if we talk about me, the story is reverse.

Although I have a void in my soul that despairs me that I will not arrive

Although I do not pretend to swear the truth, I have never cared to feel this loneliness

I will say and they do not pray to me

Neither here, nor there, no one will ever understand me

I am who I am

And I am no more

I'm lost because here I lack more

I am what I am

Leave me alone

With my madness I will seek freedom

I am as I am, I do not ask for more

I have reasons to be alone

Let me be in peace

I think "oran" is actually "oiran".

"This is me," I'll say, but they will not hear me.
Yes, and it was my typo when adding her corrections to the lyrics I sent to my "student" in Colombia.

She actually wrote "oirán" when making seven corrections and I did not correctly change the word in the full text of the lyrics.

And this:

Should have been this:
