Can tenants terminate lease early?

Today I have learnt that any tenant can terminate their tenancy agreement anytime they like just by paying 10% of the remaining term. I just wanted to see if anyone can confirm that.

No escribano. In front of the estate agent. Estate agent today told me that I can terminate if I want to so long I pay the 10% of the remaining term. He said it doesn’t need to be on the contract. It’s the law!

it depends when you signed the contract. Since 2023 there is no rental law so if you signed after it has to be specified in the contract.
