"Cara chica" dollars - how to exchange them

I'm stuck with some of those. My local cuevas discount them at either 3% or 10%. Any local alternatives?

Do local banks take them if you deposit into a local dollar account?

The banks do take them. I deposited into my usd account a few days ago and no issues.

Then to the OP, assuming the banks also give you back USD when you request them, if you have a local bank account, maybe you can deposit them and then withdraw them the next day, requesting new bills only.
