I use http://argentineslang.wordpress.com/ to lookup a lot of slang words used in Argentina. I recently watched Nueve Reinas and although I had guessed that 77 lucas was probably 77 thousand, I confirmed it there.

its a good book - argentines enjoy reading it too as there is plenty of slang in there that is rarely used now...
