Christina Kirchners speech is a inspiration

A masterpiece of hypocrisy, specially the part where she acts outraged at the tone of the arguments, and says discussions should be conducted without stigmatizing the opponent...! :D:D:D Priceless, coming from someone who elevated demonizing her "enemies" to an art.

Cristina Férnandez de Kirchner should be commended for taking a stand.

I believe it's the strongest statement in favor of marriage equality by a South American president EVER and people are right to say that even Obama has yet to stand up and say similar words.

Having said that, though, Kirchner stayed absolutely mum on the subject until 3 days before the debate as the church increased the attacks.

Not my words but Blabbeando...and I totally agree with it.

Thanks for the video

Mrs Kirchner is a baffoon. Comic relief in the global human rights tragedy. Her contribution was to stand back and catch the direction of the wind then step forward to claim victory. Watch my right hand wave the flag for Gay Rights as my left hand picks your pocket.
Not unlike any politician.......anywhere in the world. Some just have more style and grace.

By the way you are describing her character you must know her very well at personal level....

Oh! Maybe it's just by way of hearing the comments and gossiping from some of yours extremely biased right winged friends which you may not yet know what is in their personal agendas.

My fiance is a lefty socialist (to the extent that it irritates me and I'm by no means right wing) and his family is very leftist as well... and they hate her. Just because the evil right is against her, it doesn't make her a good politician.

I agree and my fiance's family is the same way. Although, since this issue touches us directly (we're a gay couple), for the first time we said "hmmmmm thanks a lot for those words"

She and her husband are not animal politicians in the political sense, they said what they think straight and what they are going to do, even if that it's not what some parts of the society want to hear in opposite to nice and sleek talking politician (and we used to have plenty of those here, and still do). That will tell you what you want to hear but not what they really are thinking and going to do, an example is Macri and Cia., and that's the BIG difference.

I agree that the Ks are not politicians. What they are is small-town thugs - masters at corruption, intimidation, and back-room deals. They are incapable of thinking beyond the next week, or the next kickback.

However, I must admit that they have achieved the impossible: uniting the Argentinians. They all despise them: right wingers, left wingers, landowners, blue collar workers, anarchists and Opus Dei members alike.
