Christmas in Argentina

I personally can´t relate to it being Xmas. Xmas is when it gets dark at 5pm and you roll in to look for hot drinks.Having said that I feel that it is always a case of "the grass is greener ".How many times have you lived in a christmassy place and wondered why oh why you did not log onto lastminute.com ?

What the hell? :D I'm glad to be spending Christmas in the US.

We don't have much cold weather in Miami so it doesn't feel very "Christmassy", but at least it's still winter. I think I would miss the Christmas carolers, the parades, the Christmas music, all the decorated houses, and opening up presents on Christmas morning. Opening them at midnight just seems very impatient to me! :p

Man, i totally missed this! Nothing gets you more into the christmas spirit than a christmas tree burning...

I am really in need of a good American Christmas. My husband is from Argentina and his parents always bought them bathing suits for Christmas..and NOTHING ELSE! lol. He is so not into Christmas. And the toys here are complete crap unless you want to pay $80=100 dollars for a Fisher Price toy which is just ridiculous, so I've decided I will do all my shopping for Christmas when I go home every year.
