I found out about Cocina Verde on this site and after having received two orders, I am hooked. The food is incredibly fresh, healthy, inexpensive, and the owner Kara, is very accommodating and responsive. I am not a vegetarian or a vegan, but try to follow a very healthy diet.
As someone who lives in NYC, and Ca and is used to shopping at Whole Foods, Trader Joes and Dean and Deluca, I was having a hard time finding organic items as well as almond butter and almond milk. Kara's almond milk is delicious (I order it without dates to save on carbs and sugar), her pumpkin butter and almond butter are incredible, and everything else I have ordered from Cocina Verde has been delicious.
I cannot recommend Kara and her staff highly enough.
