I for one have received all books ordered from Amazon (batches of 2-3-4) without any kind of hazzle and without paying any kind of taxes etc. and never missed a letter or post card.
Others have spent hours or, in the extreme, days to get parcels and paying exorbitant amounts to get them.
The number one rule is: You never know!
I suggest gluing a couple of hearts on the parcel and write e.g. "Elly corazon te amo mucho" - it may (or may not) ease the way through the system.
