Yes, they are the same street. Most streets are named after someone, with their full name (and rank if applicable), but are referred to usually just by the last name.

The codigo is 1426.

what about a simple hand written letter? will that also be stopped?

I was thinking of sending her just one book by ordinary second class mail.

We have many different experiences with mail.

The number one rule is: You never know!

I for one have received all books ordered from Amazon (batches of 2-3-4) without any kind of hazzle and without paying any kind of taxes etc. and never missed a letter or post card.

Others have spent hours or, in the extreme, days to get parcels and paying exorbitant amounts to get them.

The number one rule is: You never know!

I suggest gluing a couple of hearts on the parcel and write e.g. "Elly corazon te amo mucho" - it may (or may not) ease the way through the system.
