What type of Coffee pods are available in Buenos Aires? Any preferences on brand?

Also is is worth buying one of the machines in the US or are they reasonably priced in Buenos Aires. Thanks.

A good way to determine this is to go to mercadolibre.com.ar and search for the product. You’ll get pricing, product availability, and reviews for what is sold in Buenos Aires, even down to the neighborhood you want to live. As for electronics that heat or have a motor, make sure it is the right voltage for Argentina if you decide to buy something to bring.

I have Nespresso and love it. There's a beautiful Nespresso shop on Quintama in Recoleta.

Machine needs to be 220-240 V , or use a transformer. I suggest you just buy here.
Nespresso or Dolce and their knock offs are readily available

In Carrefour you can get re-usable coffee pods that you put your own coffee in. I don't think you would be able to make a latte with these but if you drink black coffee then they could work out cheaper.
