Does anyone live regularly in Uruguay and visit here just when they need to? I have the mercosur residency and work downtown. I have the option of working from home and am thinking of relocating to Uruguay. The main problem I think is that I will be paid in AR pesos and will have to try and convert to URG/us$ for living costs. Does anyone go frequently to URG? Do you complete the AFIP form every time to buy official? I’m thinking once a month to visit BA and take the funds out my account but I don't know if it will basically cost me more for the luxury of living in URG.
I know it’s a delicate situation that is being monitored and there is talk of Uruguay allowing AFIP access to funds in URG. Any advice?
