...and training on Argentine soil....
Many of you will have seen the video, apparently taken in secret, ironically by a subsidiary of a highly successful British publicity company.

Until fairly recently, I would become a little riled over the antics of this governement viz a viz The Falklands; but now it's a case of 'another joker in the pack'.
They never cease to amuse me and have perfected the art of shooting oneself in the foot even beyond their own imaginations.
Furthermore, Timmerman is to take the UK top the Hague for 'War crimes commited' during the conflict.
I could go on................

Yeah its all getting laughable now as is the RG economy. Oh well...

TimmerJerk is well known among his former classmates as the very dim light in the room. The guy is less than stupid and simply a puppet. When he was a diplomat in Washington he was the laughing stock of the loop. Now he has the Queens ear and speaks the Queens words. You have a fool mouthing for a bi-polar. How good does this get?

I found it interesting that the only thing she gave to back up their claim was a "British invasion" in 1833 which isn't accurate no matter how you look at Vernet and his colony, since it was an American ship that took some of the colony off and transported them back to Buenos Aires, and that the islands are a part of the South American continental shelf.

A couple of quotes that I think somewhat humurous:

"Many of them [the islanders] are antagonizing Argentina." LOL. It seemed she was saying that they are antagonizing Argentina because there's only 1300-some-odd non-military citizens there, and how dare they put their interests ahead of those of Argentina? Great argument from a fascist government.

"Their [the islanders] self interests would no doubt be better [served under Argentina rule]."

That and she kept referring to the 250K British descendants that live here in Argentina and are "very happy." Sure, like most of the rest of the population - very happy with being screwed by their governments all the time.

At least at the end, she said that there will be no further conflict over the Falklands, as answer to the commentator's comment that he hoped any differences could be settled without conflict.

I don't know what kind of a person she is, or what kind of intelligence she has. She simply didn't have much to work with having to tote the government line whether she believes it or not (though I'm sure she does), particularly when the commentator kept asking her if she thought the advertisement wasn't provocative and bad form using the Olympics in that fashion. She never really answered that, that I noticed, except with some vagaries and throwing the blame for everything back in the face of GB.

The part when she tries to quote the telegraphs poll was ridiculous.

Does she really believe that it was only Brits who voted in it and it wasn't hijacked by taringa?

Where have all the good Argentine diplomats gone?

Your sentence implies the assumption that there are good Argentine diplomats to begin with. Do you know something that the rest of us don't?

There must have been some at some point..

The ambassador: "Yes we made a horrible video, but it was done by a British Imperislist company! So really, this proves that Britain just doesn't want debate and they drain the blood of Argentine children and sell it to the Jews on Passover!"

Interviewer: "But the advertisement was paid for by the Queen of Argentina!"

The ambassador: "Uh...it's a big Jewish-Imperialist-British-American-Spanish conspiracy!"
