The gap between govt and consumer expectations rises to almost 19% - indicating growing disbelief in govt economic forecasts and what consumers believe is actual truth.

My guess is it's going to get worse maybe 40% next year when the Kirchners start spending money on all manner of things trying to get re-elected.

Scary ...Not sure what are the internal drivers of Argentina´s inflation,but couple that with rising commodity prices around the world , Argentina will get hit with a double whammy.

An economist, I forget who it was, won a nobel in economics a few years ago showing how the expectation of future inflation adds significantly to real inflation...unfortunately with all of argentina expecting massive inflation for 2011, it leaves little doubt that there will be.
