I'm actually an English teacher from the US but you mentioned beer at least three times in your latest blog, so I think we would get along great! As a language teacher, my wise words of advice are: don't expect any native speaker to be able to tell you how to attain proficiency. Actually, there is no real "secret"; it's all about being exposed to (the appropriate) language and consciously absorbing it.
My Spanish is very good for a non-native speaker (??), and I've tutored a couple of native English speakers on grammar issues and, my favorite language subject, regionalisms/dialectal differences.
PS Speaking of which, pendejo in Argentina means "kid"; where is Pedro #2 from?
PS #2 I also know where the best stout is made in this country
PM me if you're interested...beer is my favorite food!
