Costa Rica?

Hey everyone,

I am aware that this is _BA_ expats, but this is the most helpful expat forum I have found, so I am asking here

Has anyone here been to/lived in Costa Rica, before/after being to/living in Buenos Aires? How did it compare? What does each lack that the other offered? Is it generally friendly to U.S. Expats?
