Domestic Flights with overdue visa?

I have to renew my travel visa next week, which is frustrating because I leave the country 3 weeks later. The only reason I just wouldn't wait and pay 300peso fine when I fly out, is that I'm flying to Bariloche and Salta later next week and I wonder if people check your travel visa when flying domestically? Anyone know?

I asked a friend of mine who works at EZE and he said no.
 
I've outstayed my visa, and flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba last week. They never checked my travel visa.
 
Just flew from Trelew to Buenos Aires, and Aerolinas Argentina didn't check anything. They didn't even look at my passport...felt weird.
