Double Registration For American Citizens In Argentina

Does anybody know something about an online registration? A friend of a friend told me that American Embassy asked for all the American visitors already in Argentina to register due all recent events.

Apparently, is important to inform where are you going to go etc....

It is that real information? or just BS?

Nah, it's just a mailing list that practically says the same thing every time. "Riots in X so be careful.."
