Egypt has cancelled a contract for delivery of natural gas to Israel claiming Israel was in default of 100MM payment. I suspect this was for gas that was never delivered owing to attacks on the pipeline (occurring in Egypt). In any case, both sides are now gearing up militarily. Whoover wins the Egyptain presidential election is going to be under great pressure to cancel the Camp david peace agreement. Forget about Iran. It won't be long before hostilities result in shooting.

It's more complicated than that, and at time simpler,

Mubarak's Egypt had been receiving a very generous sum of "aid" from the US in exchange of Egypt not declaring war on Israel.

This purchased peace allowed for Egypt and Israel to trade, and for decades both countries have been more or less honoring their contracts.

After the Arab Spring and beautiful Democracy suddenly precipitating unto Egypt, it is now rather unclear both who should receive Mubaraks's yearly bribe, and whether there's someone in Egypt who can guarantee peace with Israel.
The majority of Egyptians might not want peace, so if democracy works, then...

In other words, there's no Pharaoh to pay tribute for peace to.
