Sugar was closed until Tuesday this week. I remember hearing the reason and then rolling my eyes. Hadn't heard about El Alamo. It must be 6 Nations envy.

Happpens occaisonally in Mendoza that bars are closed for "sanidad" (health inspection reasons,) , tho I have it on good authourity that usually it is because bribes have not been paid to the various bureaucrats in the municipality. From my observations of the kitchens and other parts of the restaurants and bars (I am an obsessive observer, and have seen some pretty disgusting kitchens aallowed to continue throughout Argentina), I would definitely agree.
